PRETZELS & HISTORY

We cover a lot of ground in our work. Here is a quick guide with links in case you want to "peruse the menu."

 

Our first "episode" sets the stage with an interview of a roller rink owner struggling to make it work during the pandemic.  From there we went on to interview a popular candy store owner.  To our elation we found out that the store was featured on Dirty Jobs Season 2 - Episode 15.  This discovery only fueled our desire to forge a path into the realm of entertainment.  Connecting the dots from Wertz candy to an interesting place known as Shuey's Pretzels in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.  (That was before we discovered this pseudonym proudly printed on one of our shirts.)

Following this line of thought brought us closer to our newly found  theme as we interviewed various actors in the snack industry, took a look at some of their products and explored some other popular topics that are also tied to the land of the hard pretzel such as the Pennsylvania Dutch! 

Of course, how could we stop there?  Through our connections made in the great little town of Lititz we traveled eastward and discovered Pro Wrestling in Broadheadsville, PA.  What a wild experience!  We couldn't say "no."
